Natrona County, Wyoming
Tucked along the eastern shore, Black Beach Campground offers a quiet retreat for campers and cabin travelers who want to slow down and breathe in the high desert air.
Our Story
Black Beach Campground sits on the eastern edge of Lake Casper, just outside the city limits of Casper. What began as a handful of pull-through sites has grown into a trusted stopping point for families, fishermen, and anyone who needs a place to park, unwind, and listen to the water.
We're not a resort. We're a campground — simple, clean, and honest. The sites are level, the lake is close, and the nights are quiet enough that you can hear the wind moving through the cottonwoods. Whether you're here for a weekend or a week, we'll make sure you have what you need and nothing you don't.

What's Here
Everything you need for a comfortable stay, nothing you don't.
Indoor bathhouse with hot showers, flush toilets, and complimentary soap and toilet paper.
Private shoreline with a sandy entry point. Swimming, fishing, and kayaking right from your site.
Every site comes with a metal fire ring. Bring your own firewood — we don't sell it, but there's a store in town.
Clean drinking water stations throughout the campground. Fill up your jugs or your RV tank here.
Coin-operated washers and dryers in the laundry room. Free for guests — just bring your own quarters and detergent.
Bring your dog — they're welcome here. Keep them leashed near the lake and clean up after them. We provide waste stations.
